Article 1: Consent to Collection of Personal Information

Hana Loss Adjustment Corporation (hereinafter referred to as 'the Site') has established a procedure where users can click the "Agree" button for membership registration and agree to the terms of the membership agreement and personal information collection and use. Clicking the "Agree" button is considered as consent to the collection and use of personal information.

Article 2: Collection Items and Purpose of Use of Personal Information

"Personal Information" refers to information that can identify an individual, such as name and social security number, either alone or when combined with other information, even if it cannot identify the individual by itself.

The Site collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:

  • General Membership Information:

    • Collection Time: When filling out the registration form

    • Required Collection Items: Name, contact information, email

    • Purpose of Use: Consultation during service use

    • Retention Period: Stored for 5 years

Article 3: Collection of Personal Information via Cookies

  1. Purpose of Cookies Usage:

    • To provide personalized information based on individual interests

    • To analyze access frequency or visit duration, and to understand users' preferences for targeted marketing and service improvement

    • To track items purchased and those of interest, providing customized shopping services

Article 4: Retention, Use Period, and Disposal of Personal Information

  1. Retention and Disposal:
    Personal information is disposed of promptly once the purpose of collection and use is achieved, or upon request for withdrawal of consent. However, some information may be retained for a specific period required by relevant laws such as the Electronic Commerce Consumer Protection Act for legal purposes.

  2. Retention Period as per Relevant Laws:

    • Records related to contract or withdrawal: 5 years

    • Payment and goods supply records: 5 years

    • Records related to complaints or dispute resolutions: 3 years

    • Visit logs: 1 year

  3. Disposal Method:

    • Paper records are shredded or incinerated.

    • Electronic records are deleted using technical methods that prevent data recovery.

  4. Dormant Accounts:
    Users who have not used the service for 12 months may be classified as dormant, and if no response is received within a designated period, their account will be deactivated, and personal data will be separated and stored separately until the legal retention period expires.

Article 5: Provision to Third Parties

  1. The Site will not use or provide personal information to third parties beyond the scope stated in "Article 2: Collection Items and Purpose of Use."

  2. Exceptions include:

    • If required by law or government authorities for investigative purposes

    • For statistical, academic, or market research purposes, where the data is anonymized

    • As required by relevant laws and regulations

Article 6: Access and Correction of Personal Information

  1. Users may view or correct their personal information at any time by contacting the privacy officer.

  2. If errors in personal information are found, the Site will suspend the use or provision of that information until the correction is made.

  3. If incorrect information has already been provided to third parties, the Site will notify them for correction.

Article 7: Security Measures for Personal Information

The Site implements technical, administrative, and physical measures to protect personal information, including encryption of passwords and protection against hacking and computer viruses. Regular updates and monitoring ensure security.
